After Work Party Berlin
With a population of 3.6 million, Berlin is Germany’s most populous city and is known for its art, theater and parties. Every year, people from all over the world flock here to get carried away by the capital and its unique beat. So it’s no wonder that Berlin is also a hotspot for particularly good after-work parties.
- The PURO Sky Lounge is an after-work party location in the heart of Berlin. On the 20th floor of the Europa Center, you can enjoy a 360° view of the illuminated city from the roof terrace.
- You can party here every Thursday from 7 pm in the well-known celebrity club. You can enjoy happy hour and delicious drinks with your colleagues until 9 pm, after which the right music program ensures an exuberant party atmosphere. The selection ranges from dance, R’n’B, charts, dance, pop and Latin music. You can check the events calendar to see whether an international artist is performing or playing. In good weather, you can enjoy the roof terrace twice over.
- But The Pearl club can also host after-work parties: located directly on Ku’damm, it is a great place to celebrate with colleagues after work in a sophisticated atmosphere.
- The party starts here every Thursday at 6 p.m., supported by the radio station 104.6 RTL, with dancing to the best and hottest hits. In the lounge area there is a 10-meter high waterfall that you have to see to believe. Small snacks such as finger food and pizza are included in the entrance fee, and happy hour lasts until 9 pm, which means a 50% discount on drinks. Live music in the lounge area is included.
- If you want a completely different program, you should check out the SO36 Roller Skate Disco in Kreuzberg, which also hosts after-work parties – only on wheels.
- This takes place every third Monday of the month and provides nostalgic moments. Beginners and pros can dance to hip hop and funk to the beat of the music or join the roller skating dance class from 8:30 pm to learn something new. However, this is not necessary, from 9 p.m. absolute beginners can also join the party and simply have fun. After all, it’s not about skill.
After work party in Hamburg
Hamburg is just an hour away from Berlin, and despite the proximity of the two cities, the celebrations here are already different to those in the capital. But when it comes to after-work parties, Hamburg is in no way inferior to the other cities.
- Things get off to a varied start at the Headphones Bergfest After Work at Cascadas, which hosts the famous headphone party. For a €10 deposit, you are given a pair of headphones at the entrance and can choose between 3 channels on the dance floor that play hip hop, 80s and 90s and alternative music. The big advantage: if you want to talk at room volume, all you have to do is take out your headphones. The event starts at 7 pm and admission costs €5.
- In contrast, there is free entry to the After Work Party at Sausalitos in the Chilehaus Hamburg.
- Every Thursday from 5 p.m., you can sip delicious drinks and cocktails here, which are served both indoors and outdoors. A live DJ provides the necessary beats and the team always has something new on the menu. Those who like classic after-work parties will get their money’s worth here.
- If the weather is good in the warmer months of the year, we recommend the after-work party at Hamburg’s Sands Bar. Admission is free, but the dates are not fixed. So it’s worth keeping an eye on the Sands Bar FB page if you don’t want to miss the next after-work party. In return, you get delicious drinks and can go out onto the Dammtordamm at any time without having to stand outside the bar or in the crowd. Outdoor fans will love it here!
After Work Party in Munich
Located in the south of Germany, Munich is in no way inferior to other cities when it comes to after-work parties. Because Munich can do much more than just Oktoberfest and strong beer. But see for yourself:
- The Kunsthalle München is not only one of the most visited exhibition venues in Germany, but also offers a unique opportunity once a month. On every 3rd Wednesday of the month, you can view the exhibits until 10 pm and then head straight to the after-work party afterwards. Admission is free, the bar opens at 6:30 pm and there is a DJ who takes care of the music. Worth seeing.
- Once a month, the After Work Tram offers all Munich residents a five-hour party on the streetcar. Here you get a city tour and party in one and, as a newcomer to the city, have the advantage of being able to make contacts directly in a small space. Admission costs €12 and €6 for club members. Drinks and snacks are served and you should be prepared for surprises. We won’t reveal any more.
- Things are more classic at Upside East: the after-work party takes place here above the rooftops of Munich on the last Tuesday of the month. The music is provided by renowned DJs who play in clubs such as P1 at the weekend. The drinks taste even better in good weather and with a beautiful sunset at lofty heights.
